NAFA holds two major fundraising events each year, an annual dinner for the Nepali New Year and the Hike to Help Nepal at Mt Coot-tha. Check the Calendar for the details of the next event.

Donate

NAFA is pleased to accept general donations or goods and donations for specific projects. Recent approval by AUSAID means NAFA donations are tax deductible. Please contact us for details.

Nifty NAFA Knitters:

One of NAFA's most successful projects has been the knitting of woollen clothes. If you have spare wool or time to knit, please contact Brenda Hazelwood on 07 3207 4774.

You can sponsor a child's education through the independent NAFA sponsorship program.

Make a bequest

Many Australians are seeking to leave a lasting legacy through bequests or charitable trusts. If you remember NAFA (Qld) in your Will you will be supporting the work of our Association in assisting to improve the physical, social, emotional and economic well being of people in Nepal. You may wish to bequest in support of PA Nepal or even Thimi School or make your bequest more general to support our total programme.What can I give? You can bequeath cash, a specific sum or a percentage or the residue of your estate, jewellery, works of art, shares and other goods. You may wish to discuss with us the type of gift you intend to leave NAFA (Qld) to ensure that we are able to apply it appropriately to our work.
